CIPS Level 6 Graduate Diploma - DAY RELEASE

Entry Requirements

Must have achieved Level 5 award or been exempted.

Exemptions allowed from optional units only, unit by unit on content, by prior qualification or experience. Qualifications which have a relevant content must be at Level 6 or above, or their equivalent as determined by CIPS, or the modules/units must have been covered in the final year of an undergraduate programme in a bona fide University or be at post-graduate level.

Applicant exemptions are dealt with on an individual basis by CIPS.

Day Classes: Thursday 0930 – 1630

Programme

The programme runs from Sep 2010 – May 2011

  • 2nd September 2010 – 25th November 2010: Strategic Supply Chain Management (Morning) and Leading and Influencing Purchasing (afternoon)
  • 13th January 2011 – 19th May 2011: Finance for purchasers (Morning) and Advanced Project Management (afternoon)
  • Supply Chain Management in Practice (by arrangement)

Fees

The cost is £375 per subject. Additional fees are payable to CIPS for student membership/subscription and exams.

Aims of the Course

The CIPS Level 6 Graduate Diploma - DAY RELEASE course at the City of Glasgow College is to provide provide qualified persons, within purchasing and supply management, with a broad-based education in business and specialised studies, relating to the profession.

Course Content

The course includes a variety of teaching modules, structured tuition and course materials. There will also be set CIPS exam papers with mock examinations using previous CIPS exam papers.
